The standard light cycle for LAR animal housing rooms is 7:00 AM on and 7:00 PM off.  Timers are programmed to Eastern Standard Time and are not changed during Daylight Savings Time.  In other words, during Daylight Savings Time (roughly March to November of each year; please consult calendar for specific dates), timers will remain programmed on a 7:00 AM on and 7:00 PM off schedule; however, lights will actually turn on at 8:00 AM and go off at 8:00 PM.

This form serves to initiate a request for non-standard light cycles.  Light cycle change requests must be received at least 48 hours prior to the date of the requested adjustment.  Light cycle adjustments are not completed on weekends, holidays, and University closings.  Please plan accordingly.
